Ruff Life Dog Rescue of Illowa has been selected as the November recipient of Eriksen Chevrolet’s Three Degree Guarantee.
For each day of the month that the actual temperature is within three degrees of the forecasted high temperature, Ruff Life Dog Rescue of Illowa will receive $20 from Eriksen Chevrolet in Milan, Illinois. Each night, the WQAD Storm Track 8 team will predict the next day’s high temperature. The forecasted temperatures are compared to the actual temperatures recorded by the National Weather Service.
Ruff Life Dog Rescue works to provide top-notch care, veterinary services and foster (and “furever”) homes to Quad Cities-area pups. The organization is responsible for vetting foster homes for each animal that passes through their care, allowing for a safe and loving transition between foster care and adoption. Ruff Life Dog Rescue also partners with local businesses and organizations to host fundraising and foster/adoption opportunities, including Pups and Pints, Painting with a Purpose and Diggin’ It for the Dogs Volley.
