Morgan joined the WQAD family in July of 2019. This is her first job after graduating from Ball State University in May of 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology and Climatology. She is thrilled to be working with such an amazing and hard-working group of people! She also couldn't imagine being mentored by a better group of meteorologists.
She got the opportunity to intern at WISH-TV in Indianapolis while in school, but her favorite college memory would be the storm chasing trip she got to take! She spent 18 days traveling all over the Great Plains putting what she learned in the classroom to real life. She still hasn't seen a tornado in person, but one day she will.
Morgan grew up in Carmel, Indiana where her passion for weather rose from fear. If you told six-year-old Morgan that she would eventually chase those frightening storms, she would think you're crazy! She feels so lucky to have found a career path that makes work exciting and fun every day!
When Morgan is not tracking the weather, you can find her watching a new Netflix show or soaking up any outdoor time she can. She also absolutely loves water activities! Boating, swimming, skiing, kayaking, you name it!
