GiGi’s Playhouse Quad Cities has been selected as the March recipient of Eriksen Chevrolet’s Three Degree Guarantee.
For each day of the month that the temperature is within three degrees of the forecasted high temperature, GiGi’s Playhouse Quad Cities will receive $20 from Eriksen Chevrolet in Milan, Illinois. Each night, the WQAD Storm Track 8 team will predict the next day’s high temperature. The forecasted temperatures are compared to the actual temperatures recorded by the National Weather Service.
Since GiGi’s Playhouse Quad Cities opened its doors in 2011, the organization has supported hundreds of families of individuals with Down syndrome through educational resources and enrichment. GiGi’s Playhouse Quad Cities provides classes and experiences for all ages, including fitness classes, career development and language and social skill development. On June 3, GiGi’s Playhouse Quad Cities will host the 11th Annual Superhero 5K Run and the 19th Annual Family Walk and Kids’ Dash as part of the National GiGiFIT Acceptance Challenge.
